Damn those were good episodes. Although, I do wish the story focused more on what happened right after Jack was taken by the Chinese (I really want to know about those suits who were "running" the whole operation last year) but I guess we'll see what happens this season.

I agree. This was my first time really watching 24, but now I'm a major fan. I look forward to tomorrow's episode, and hopefully will see the previous seasons soon. Somebody fill me in: how did Jack get captured by the Chinese, and why?

Yeah, but the season premiere spoils us so much. Two back-to-back nights, and then we have to wait a whole week between episodes for a while until they do another special.

Jack was captured by the Chinese at the end of the previous season (he went into a building "to get a phone call"). They wanted him because he had led an assault on the Chinese consulate in Season 4 to retrieve someone, and the consul was killed by friendly fire in the firefight.

I want to know the price they paid to get Jack back from the Chinese, but I guess we'll find out later.

Chloe's hair is amazing.

Thanks, somebodynew. The whole season premiere thing is great. The way they were advertising it on FOX, I thought there were 4 hours of 24 back-to-back. I'm glad they stretched it out over two nights, though.

WHY, Curtis, WHY????

lmfao yes he shot curtis!

is he dead?

yes the bomb went off!! hell yea! I lvoe this show!

How could Curtis not be dead? A shot to the jugular would kill almost anyone (exception: Superman).
