hey im looking to increase my overall score by at least 4 points. i got a 25 cold with no books or without even looking at a test beforehand. whats the best way to increase my score? and what are the best materials to use?

The best way to increase your score is to read those books that you haven't looked at. Buy the Real ACT Prep Guide, and take the practice tests at the end of these books - they're especially helpful. If you have any wrong answers, take a look at the explanations that come with the tests to see why you got those questions wrong. It's also a good idea to take a look at the correct answer explanations, because looking at them will increase your understanding of the material and help you to keep answering those types of questions correctly.

thanks. hey btw, is increasing your overall score on the act different/harder than the sat? ive heard that it is but i am not sure.

well...... i don't know, but i think you get better with time, i took the act in 7th gradea nd made a 19 composite, but in 9th grade i took it again and made a 29 composite.......so i think classes does affect your scores on the ACT
