I'm on pg 410 right now. Is there anything I can skip from this point onwards? please help!

it's 6:00 where I live

Skip the last chapter (Chapter 30) because it is the most recent information.

If you don’t have the time, skip vietnam and afterwards, it’s going to be least-discussed section.

at what time period does the apush test end? cuz my books goes all the way to the administration of obama and im pretty sure that’s WAY too recent

Do NOT skip Vietnam.

okay, i’ll skip the last chapter

i’m at pg. 500 now. The New Era: The 1920’s.

Is there anything besides Vietnam that I can skip?

The section about the politics of WWII, perhaps?

Anything after Watergate isn’t covered much on the exam. For Vietnam, be sure to know what the War Power Resolution allows Congress to do. With 4 hours left, I would focus on the 1960s, a lot of events took place during that decade.

Dude reading that now is late. i would recommend reading the AP US HISTORY cram packet. It gives you all the information in just 19 pages. It is brief, but will give you a lot more than trying to read 200 pages.

skip anything about battles or actual warfare (some key turning point battles are good ot know) because there isn’t much of that. just understand the politics and effects and stuff

but, but, i REALLY want a 5. i know the stuff i’ve read so far THOROUGHLY

how much sleep should i get? i have to finish the 200 pgs. HAVE TO

At least 8, depends on your body though.

yankeedoodle, just some friendly advice. Reading 200 pages will take you hours, which means less sleep and being more tired and restless during the exam. This will more often than not affect your thinking process. I recommend using my Suggestion and trying out the cram packet for a bit.

If you are determined to finish it then do so. But just something else that may help you is take a practice exam and learn from the mistakes. That will give you a general idea of where you are and then go to sleep!

I cannot emphasis the importance of sleep before the AP exam. It is vital.

Last year I stayed up till 5:00 a.m. studying, went to sleep for an hour and then absolutely destroyed the APUSH test . I’d skip anything after Nixon (other than skimming through Reagan et al). I’d skim Vietnam, but no need to read it in depth since it was last years DBQ.

You’re hardcore sulthernao, but I do believe it will impair your thinking somewhat. Maybe not enough to impact you totally, but sleep is always important and there must be some significance in why all teachers and advisers say “get good sleep and eat a good breakfast”

i’m taking ap euro notes now…because i’m such a procrastinator, I have like…70 pages? but euro exam is in noon.

if u dont need to take notes, just read through them and write down simple facts, i think u should just remember main points and purpose like treaties and acts?

but there are just so many treaties and acts! it’s ridiculous

i think i’ll be fine though. i just need to read the Civil War (b/c i skipped that) and Truman and beyond. so that’s what, down to 150 pgs?

and then review random acts and people.

i’m going to stay up until 1, i think?

thanks for all the help, guys!

whered all u guys get the AMSCO book?!?!

is crash course any good?

My teacher got them for my class.
