So who has actually received it?

i got it...

but i mean, it's not really gonna make that big of a dent in my 200K Harvard education...

When? And was it an actual check or does it go through the university somehow?

i got it a while ago... um, the letter i received in early march told me that they would notify my first choice school of the scholarship. so i'm guessing that it goes through the university somehow.

Yes, they will send the check directly to the university, and it will be deducted from your bill.

I got the 2500 national achievement scholarship... ive seen both NA and NM letters and they say they send the scholarship to your school in like september i think. I actually dont get to use mine b/c my school limits the amount of scholarship you can recieve to your need and i already have 100% need met by scholarships

Is the NMSC finished awarding its scholarships? If I haven't gotten one by now, is there no chance of getting one? I sent in my first-choice school card a couple weeks ago.

You can contact your 1st choice school & ask them if they will be awarding you anything based on your naming them your 1st choice school with NM. Some schools are quite generous while others award nothing or a token one-time $500 or something. There are many schools in between. The school my son will attend offered 1/2 tution for 4 years to NMFs, which we find quite generous.

<my heart=""> Congrats on getting full scholarships for all your need! That's awesome & must be a great relief for your folks.</my>

I think the NM sponsored and corporate sponsored scholarships have been sent out by now. Now the college sponsored scholarships are being sent; my daughter just got hers yesterday (by the way, she did not send her card in until April 10th).

My S got the rejection letter yesterday.

yeah, i got mine a few days ago...haha the letter came with a may 1st deadline and i got it around april 28

My D got her letter of "regret" from NM today....no $ here...

Congratulations to all who received the one-time $2500 award.
