<p>You're pretty much In for U of michigan. But i've heard that as of now they have the lowest African American population they've had since ever. You could practically have a 25 and still probably get in.</p>
<p>In terms of lib. arts schools: I would suggest Hamilton, which has an awesome English program and is desparate for minority candidates. Acceptance rating is pretty low (about 30 percent), but you still have a shot. Middlebury's also a good one to look into.</p>
<p>Less competitive but still exceptional are Hampshire, Marlboro, Bennington (you might have a match there) and St. Lawrence. Give those a shot--though they're certainly smaller than you might want.</p>
