3.2 GPA requirement for scholarship

I just got my acceptance to Rollins, along with a great scholarship. However, I notice that I must maintain a 3.2 GPA to keep it. I have close to a 3.8 (UW) GPA in high school. I looked at the number of students (undergrad and grad) that were on the Deans List (3.5-3.75) and President's List (3.75-4.0) and calculated the percentage of students (based on undergrad and grad student population) that got above a 3.5. I calculated that approximately 11% of the grad and undergrad students made the list. Now the question is how many students have GPAs between 3.2 and 3.5? If I am generous, I would guess about 10%. This would mean that only about 21% of the students get above the magic 3.2.

I hear that freshman year can be a difficult year of adjusting to college life and academics. My parents can afford Rollins if I have the scholarship. Otherwise...not so much. I am afraid that I may lose the scholarship the first year. Also, I am interested in exploring some classes that are considered difficult. I want to take these classes, but I will have to take classes that are less challenging if I am worried about my GPA.

Here are my questions:
1) Does anybody know what percent of undergrads have a 3.2 or above every semester?
2) Is losing the scholarship a common occurrence?
3) Can you get it back?
4) Does anybody else have these same concerns?
