I started this summer at the University of Florida, transferred from a community college with 60 credits and what not. I had a GPA of 3.46 and that got me a scholarship and there are a few more scholarships i'm waiting on, which i'm hoping i get. My current situation is this, since I've been to UF i have taken 3 classes (in the summer) i took a C programming class and i got a C-, took linear algebra got an A and took engineering stats and got a B. So this programming class put me at a GPA of 2.89 (My UF GPA which started my GPA all over). My concern is, will the scholarships look at this new GPA or will it be my WHOLE GPA, including my community college GPA??? i'm afraid they might tell me i dropped below the magic "3.0" when overall i didn't. So, does anybody know, in average, how scholarships look at your GPA? i know it varies depending on the scholarship but i was just wondering if anyone had an idea of how they do it. Thank you!
