3.38 gpa and a 26 act, help please!

I am a current junior in high school and am freaking out about my chances of getting into the colleges on my list.

Freshman gpa: 3.3
Sophomore gpa: 3.3
Junior gpa: 3.48 so far
senior gpa: hopefully will get the same as sophomore or a little higher

  • next year i am taking 2 honors courses: chinese and forensics
  • i have taken language all four years

ECs

  • varsity swim team (4 years)
  • freshman soccer team (1 year)
  • summer job: lifeguarding
  • charity youth group (4 years)
  • good amount of community service
  • chinese club (4 years)
  • chinese honors society (2 years)

Colleges i’m looking at:

  • Miami of Ohio
  • Texas Christian University
  • University of Missouri
  • University of Arkansas
  • Fordham University
  • Marquette Universtiy
  • University of Dayton

No need for freaking. You seem quite compatible at that group of schools.

Freaking, no. Concern, sure. Look at the school’s websites or some online data sites. Fordham list their middle 50% of admits at ACT of 27-31. So, you are on the low side, but not out of the question. GPA is not bad, but not noteworthy either. You should get in to one or more of those schools, but don’t expect much in the way of scholarship money.
