You need to calculate your UC GPA, if you are interested in the UC’s. See link: <a href=“GPA Calculator for the University of California – RogerHub”>http://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/

You have a competitive SAT score and good EC’s. If you had at least 4 AP classes your Soph/Junior year, your UC GPA would be around 3.75+ (still need to calculate to know for sure). UCSC/UCR/UCM would be Matches.
UCSB/UCI/UCD could be High Matches if you write some really compelling essays.

Good Luck and glad you are healthy today.

Thanks man!! Quick question… how does Berkeley sound? I heard acceptance is heavily impacted by essays @gumbymom

@jays98: Your UC GPA would need to be 4.0+ and SAT around 2100+ along with great essays to have a really good shot at UCB, but I am no Adcom so you never know unless you apply. UCB tends to be more holistic in their admissions, but I would still consider it a reach. Good Luck to you.

You’re California in-State?

Ya I am in California @"aunt bea"‌

How about the non-UC schools… which ones are reach? @Gumbymom‌

i am applying to virginia tech and uni of arizona also with a slightly better GPA… many people say i have an excellent shot so i could say the same for you

ok cool! @thatdudeinhs‌
