<p>Was he/she an URM or super-talented in some EC? Regardless, good for your friend!</p>
<p>Anyways, I know someone who got REJECTED with a mid-2300... surprising, considering they only rejected 100 or so people (and no, she wasn't a psychopath or a jerk with an absolutely no life... perfectly sociable and intelligent).</p>
<p>Her scores are alright. Did she have extreme ECs, legacy, hook, etc...?</p>
<p>1400 is good... plus the average admitted SATs were 1450 or something, so that's not far off... and s/he could have had a great writing score and above average ECs. and maybe the 3.66 is due to a hard school- his/her ranking might be more useful. haha sorry. congrats to him/her :D</p>
