3.86 UIUC Transfer

Hello guys.
I was wondering about my chances this year as a transfer applicant to UIUC
for the fall of 2010.

My Highschool stat:
GPA: 3.54 (unweighted/weighted- school doesn't have separate)
ACT: 27 w/ writing score of 10.
E.C.s: Soccer for 3 years, community services, tutoring, and Korean Club treasury.

My College Stat:
Freshman at a top 100 university currently with fall semester completed
1st semester GPA: 3.86 (All A's and one B+; good courses) 15 credits
E.C.s: T.A., Tutor, KSA Treasury, and .
So, do i have a decent chance?
Thanks for your input

my major would be ECON

I think you have a great chance of getting in. Jw, what school do you go to currently? And so you are applying to LAS? You have a very good chance if so.

I am at a JC as of now…

I will be applying with over 60 credit hours completed.

LAS, specifically the department of Atmospheric Science.

All of the classes I have taken are transferable.

I would be able to complete my degree in 2 years.

Estimated GPA range 3.4 - 3.8

I am a high school baseball coach and I am also very involved in the local community.

Do I have a chance? Or what should I focus on? Thank You very much.

I’d say you have a pretty good chance, as long as you don’t put the word “bong” in your user name

haha… bong is actually part of my real first name…
