SO i really really really want to get into Boston College... what do you think?

White girl from CT good public high school, 3.89 GPA weighted, Grades usually just A- and B+ for high level classes with a few average classes and three APs- two lit, one chemistry. Going for communications, with recommendation letters from a BC alumnus (neighbor) and an ex-BC professor (she only taught a few classes and then moved away).
Thank you so much and please be honest!

Hey, thanks for the chance.
Ok, so this is my view of BC. My school has a past history list of acceptances where they show who got in with what GPA and SAT. So far, in our school's history (we are a public school btw), everyone has got in once their SATs surpassed 2100 with a 97.5/100 + GPA which is 3.8-3.9 GPA. If you look solely at that, you should get in. We had a year where 7 kids got into BC.
This of course, is only data and cannot be the truth to every occasion, but in my opinion you have a good shot. Good luck!

You have a good chance of getting into BC
but I can't assure that you are in since BC is really competetive
+ I don't know your SAT II scores or so
still only with what I see, you have a good chance
