i want to apply to actually 3 early action schools but the common app says it will only let you send to one early. help?!

do you understand what early action is, crunk? You may be able to apply to multiple schools early action, but you can only apply to one school early decision or single choice early action.

I agree with TTwhite. Are you sure it's early action?
There's early action, which is extremely rare, single choice early action, and early decision.

While early action is non-binding, most schools offer single choice early action meaning you can only apply to 1 school.
It's best not to find ways around this. If it gets out that you applied early action to multiple schools against policy all schools will withdraw your acceptance.

yeah 2 of them are early actions the other is single choice.
what if the early actions allow you to apply to others then can you apply to single choice or no?

It's called SINGLE choice for a reason. If you apply Single Choice Early Action to a school, you can't apply to any other school Early Action.

Early Action is not THAT rare, it just depends on what type of school you are looking at.

If a school is single choice early action then you can only apply to that school early. In that sense, it is similar to early decision. But you are still able to apply to other schools regular decision.

If a school just just plain early action, that you are allowed to apply to other schools that are just plain early action. As well as your other schools regular decision.

Hope that makes sense for you!

Also, I'm pretty sure the common app will let you apply to multiple schools EA as long as NONE of them are single choice.
