<p>Since it’s self-report for admissions, don’t bother showing it. You only need to send them all scores (and official ones) if you get in and decide to go. But a 3 is pretty low, especially for MIT. Hopefully you have better scores on other AP science and math tests if you’ve taken them and 700+ on SAT subject tests.</p>
<p>Go to the MIT web site and look up their policy for AP scores. </p>
<p>If you do, you’ll find that the APWH score of 5 will give you some unrestricted elective credit but not satisfy the HASS requirement. For arts and humanities AP scores, any thing less than a 5 gets you nothing. No credit is given for the Chemistry AP exam at all (yes, even a 5 means nothing to MIT).</p>
