3 questions on CR

On the lawyers passages there was a question about two quotes. I put passage 1 said something from a personal someone and passage 2 makes it a generic thing that many people use
also on another question about the comparison between fast foods did you guys put that both passages focus on : travel or commerce.? And finally on that same passage what was the answer to the structure of passage 1 to 2. I put 2 refutes (not the exact word) a claim in passage 1. ANother choice was that passage 2 discusses analogy from passage 1.

Yea i second your first answer. I said On commerce for the second i also put refutes. wierd... i felt like i did extremely ****ty on the entire test

ok lets see
i put
the same as your first answer
commerce
and quote from personal document

i hated that commerce vs travel question, couldn't decide so i just put down commerce.

i second your first answer- it was about the attorneys views. the first cited one attorney, the second was a general view of all attorneys

it was commerce

i don't believe the word was refutes.. it was more like challenges an argument?

To back up commerce, neither of the authors speak negatively about travel, they are complaing about how big business and commerce makes the highways look terrible. Confident Commerce was correct

Sum33th. About your answer to the lawyer question. The second also cites an attorney. saying, "an attorney had said 'give me the facts and i will make it into a story.'" or something along those line. I specifically remeber the second passage refering to an attorney actually saying those words

Did both indicate many people feel juries are easily manipulated?

yes.. i put easily manipulated, changed that one at the last minute

I am begining to feel a lot better about my answers...

ach44: i don't remember it like that.. the first passage cited one specifically addressed attorney, and the second passage used "attorney" in a general sense

What do you guys think -1 or -2 is on CR?

It did speak about attorneys in general. I agree with you in that. But my point is that they BOTH cited an attorney to use their quote. Therefore making the first part of that answer worth null

I do not feel good about my scores at all. mainly because i just didnt study at all. But talking with CCers is making me feel like i messed up on the easy ones.

I think the first one was:

"passage 1 quotes a specific attorney's view, passage 2 makes a generic claim one might make"

IDK. Dont listen to me. this is my second Reasoning, i didnt study and i didnt do well my first time. Just have a good IQ. only thing i got goin for me

I am still worrying about triumvirate (although I put it). I thought it was too ez for a hard lvl question.

did you put discursive for the repitalian eye that protects it from sand

i was choosing between inert and discursive

the answer was definitely triumvirate, gyros

The answer is triumvirate. i was deciding between triumvirate and Triage. and put triage. LOL
