So I really want to drop Spanish this year despite it being a easy A for me because it's just sucha pointless class because I am a senior and I am in regular (4th year Spanish). I also want to open up some time so I can do well in my other classes. So would 3 years of Spanish be sufficient for:

SUNY Buffalo, SUNY Albany, SUNY Stony Brook?

*** BUT HERES THE CATCH. I am applying to all of these schools' honors colleges/pre med programs so..... is that a difference?

Did you already apply?

If you did, then a schedule change COULD be grounds for revoking your acceptance(unlikely though).

no not yet. i have had one day of school and i dont plan implying until later fall?

What’s your GPA/SAT? If you’re numbers are borderline, you should take fourth year Spanish. If you will probably get in, take an easier class.

GPA 3.3/ SAT 1920, expecting ~2050. My numbers are very good for these schools but its just the honors/pre med programs I am concerned about because for those my numbers are just good enough or maybe even slightly better.

I know taking spanish may raise my GPA a little bit but its just such of a ******** class and I really would like to free up some time for myself, and for my other AP’s so I can actually do better in those.

I like your username

If you take an AP, it’ll probably increase your chances.

once again, I started spanish in freshman year, and have taken REGULAR level spanish all the way up till now… so I am NOT taking AP spanish this year… IS IT WORTH IT?

and yes I <3 my username as well.

bumpppppppppppppppppppppppppppp
