35 on ACT Practice Exam

I am currently a junior in high school and I plan to take either the SAT or ACT in the spring (2015). However, I don't know which exam, the SAT or ACT, would give me the best score.

I recently took an ACT practice exam and received a composite score of 34.75, which rounded to 35. The practice exam I used was created by www.act.org and is from 2014-2014. (http://www.act.org/aap/pdf/Preparing-for-the-ACT.pdf)

I took the PSAT as well and received a score of 48 in math, 50 in reading, and 49 in writing.
I know these aren't the best scores, but I have been practicing both with the SAT Blue Book and a PSAT/NMSQT test prep book. As well, my school requires that we take SAT/ACT prep classes. The work we do is centered more for SAT prep, however, especially in math, which I believe is what I need the most help with. We never do any ACT prep for math and we do little to none in the reading/writing class.

I want to decide as of now which test I am going to take that way I can focus my time to studying for that one. However, I don't know which to choose. Should I decide to take the ACT because of this one practice exam score or should I continue to practice for the SAT both with my school and practice books?

You can take both tests but if you can get a 35 on the real act there really is no need to study for the sat. Your psat scores are also low for sat so you should probably just stick with act

Stick to the ACT, you are almost guaranteed to be in the 30s if you scored 35 on this practice test.
