<p>greetings to all nyu students out there. i am an incoming student with question regarding to 3rd ave north housing. i want to know how is the social life at 3rd ave north. it has a fitness center, does it open 24/7? how is the dorm in general? thanks!!!</p>
<p>Its all terrible, if you want apt style, go for U-hall... If you want traditional (more social) housing go for Rubin or Hayden</p>

<p>Call Housing and ask if 3rd's fitness is opened 24/7... everything else seems prettty subjective. </p>
<p>3rd is personally my 2nd choice, after Rubin. I'd love to live there but it's a lil expensive.</p>
<p>The rooms can be small and gross & some of the suites have like 4 bedrooms or something. No one I knew ever raved about it, but none of the NYU dorms get unqualified raves anyway... However, location's good.</p>
