yes, because 12th street is opening, UHall is considered upperclassmen housing. it’s already full from the upperclassmen housing lottery, which was this past week.

I was accepted through the opportunity program (HEOP) and they only let us pick low-cost rooms (because NYU are paying full for HEOP student’s room&board so of course they don’t want to spend too much money). I got my housing information this week. HEOP kids get it later than regular admissions.

They also only let me choice from 4 choices. Low cost: 3rd north(I put first choice), Hayden (2), Rubin(3), and Brittany.(4)

At 3rd north what is a low-cost room like?

Is it just a smaller room u share with one roomate or is it a room you share with 2 other roomate(3 people).

How about low cost at Hayden,.Rubin and Brittany?
Is it just smaller rooms? Or do you HAVE to share one room with 2 other people?

I don’t mine having a small room and just sharing it with my friend but I don’t want to share a room with 2 other people lol.

Low cost rooms at Rubin are triples:double rooms originally meant for two with a bunk bed and a twin bed. It’s not bad at all. Nice location on Fifth Avenue, close to 8th Street and the park. No AC but with fans, you can make it through the few hot weeks.

There are some pictures here. Look at the -18 room and imagine a bunk bed instead of the one of the twins. The next set of pictures -16 has an unbunked bunkbed.
