I'm currently a junior and have taken the SAT twice (I don't plan on taking it more than 3 times). I haven't done well on the two tests and want to improve my score...A LOT

Ok. On the first test (March) I received:
CR- 610
Writing- 600
Math-560

On the second test (May) I received:
CR-580
Writing-600
Math- 590

Overall my superscore is 1800. My goal is a 2100+, but anything above a 2000 would be fine too. I need to get between a 2000 and 2100 to even be considered the schools I'm applying to so this score is very important.

So...
Should I take the June test? I would be able to spend my summer on college stuff (visits, essays, applications), volunteering, and enjoying my summer vacation my B-)
Also, I plan on taking the ACT & SAT subject tests senior year and since I haven't started studying for either, studying for the SAT on top of all of this may be hard to handle... Plus it's about 2 weeks away, so I wouldn't have that much time to study and it's right in the middle of my final exams.

However, if I take it senior year, I'll have more time to study, which means a better score, but I don't want to fall behind in the college application process.
If you do suggest the September or October test, what materials would you recommend to study from. (I've already finished the CollegeBoard book, and have 6 practice tests left in PR.) I want to improve in all sections, so any advice you have would be appreciated

Thanks!
