<p>Hey everyone. What are my chances for the following universities? Thank you
I am applying for pre-med / bio med undergrad at:
1) Cornell
2) Boston College
3) NYU
4) Michigan Ann Arbor</p>

<p>GPA: 3.4
Ap courses: math, calculus, chemistry, physics
SAT: 2020 (M:800, W:680, CR:540)
Subject SAT: math II 800, physics 760.
Languages: fully bilingual</p>

<p>Atheltics:
Swim team 4 years (MIP 2 years in a row) - provincial level.
Track & Field 2 years - regional level
Tennis team - 2 years - regional level</p>

<p>Extra-curricular activities:
jazz band 3 years,
concert band 4 years,
finished piano education,
Student council PR executive 2 years in a row, Ontario student leadership conference participant
DECA chapter founder and president - 2 years
DECA top 10 provincial qualifier
Waterloo math contest bronze level x2
Computer linguistical European championship - 2nd place
Math academic award
Robotics team (mechanical director)
University of toronto summer engineering program graduate (senior mechanical engineeer stream)
gr 9 and gr 11 drama club including provincial festival participation
Certified as a lifeguard of National Lifeguard Service of Canada (quals in AED, EFA, SFA, CPR-C)
Part-time job for the goverment institution as a lifeguard/swimming and lifesaving instructor
300+ volounteer hours doing a variety of acitvities (mostly education related - teaching swimming, dance etc.)
Assistant a fully licensed M.D in a clinical research of arterial hypertension over the course of several months on volunteer basis.</p>

<p>Anyways. What are my chances? What am I missing? Advice? Should I apply? I am canadian btw :)</p>

<p>Well, I can certainly see why you emphasize math! The SAT score of 2020 is certainly low for Cornell (the only one I can chance you on with adequate knowledge), but the bright spot is the 800 in Math. Your GPA, though, does put a death knell on your academic/testing side. But you could be saved depending on your rank and if you retake, so if your school ranks in some way, please report it for a more accurate chance.</p>

<p>The ECs look nice. Nothing extra special, but they’re solid. I’d say Cornell is a high reach. And your ethnicity does factor in a bit…</p>

<p>The CR score will be a issue for ll of these schools. It will especially make Cornell and BC unlikely. Bringing it to 600 would make Michigan and NYU more in reach. Any financial aid at them would be unlikely, however.</p>
