Hi, I'm currently enrolled at Rutgers and plan on transferring to a top 10 business school after a year or so(harvard, upenn, ect.) What I'm wondering is if I should take 4 or 5 courses? I know I can most likely get a 4.0 with the 13 credits I am taking right now. My current classes are expository writing, intro to macro, intro to computing for business and calculus. If I were to add General Psychology, I would possibly dip down from a 4.0 and maybe get a B or something in my classes because the workload is said to be increased tremendously. So my question is should I risk it and take 16 credits and possibly drop from a 4.0, or play it safe with 13 credits? I'm planning on majoring in Business Management and Info systems. Thanks in advance!

Play it safe! Quality over quantity ALWAYS with transferring. Some students are under the impression that they need to impress the committee with 500 classes when that simply is not true. Play it smart. If you cant handle it and may suffer from that, don risk it.
