More specifically, wharton undergrad and/or Harvard college

Both Impossible

harvard- almost don't accept transfers nowadays

warton- you cannot fullfill their requirement within first semester

well the point isnt to complete requirements in the first semester, they give you a whole year despite the fact tha tyou are applying by the end of the 1st semester.

All I'm asking is will it be more advantageous to take 5 courses over 4?

Harvard does take transfers.

I don't see how there's any distinct difference between 4 or 5 courses. Hopefully you have good HS stats and test scores or you're pretty much out of the running for Harvard/Wharton so early in the game. Take however many courses you'll feel comfortable with. They're mainly going to be looking at your HS records and 1 more college course will not really matter. More importantly, get A's. I'd take 4 classes and get A's over 5 classes and risk getting a B.

I've looked around Wharton's site and didn't see any transfer requirements.

Fastosus...they have plenty...trust me.

Too lazy to link, but I think the nursing school is the only one without them.
