4 years to do double major plus pre med?

There was no witch hunt, and hyperbolic statements like that only perpetuate the situation in which you now find yourself. You asked for advice and advice was given to you. It was blunt advice, certainly, but it was honest advice and good advice. Would you prefer everything sugar-coated? Get used to blunt honesty, because that’s life. An personal stuff only started after you escalated the situation.

the advice given was and is well received…u knw tht…everyone who reads it will…
speaking of which…plz point out the useful advice i got through post #4…all i got was how foolish my idea was…i wasnt told a way to improve it was i?..thts what i was looking for!!!
anyhoo…its pointless…whts done is done…i did end up getting some good advice out of this thread and i thanked the people who contributed to it…
right now this thread is more exhausting and counterproductive than anything else :s

“I want advice that only tells me what I want to hear, and I will throw a hissy fit if I get anything else. You have NO RIGHT to give me ANYTHING else because this is the internet.”
That’s the gist of your attitude here.

Boneh3ad, NeoDymium, et al–

It’s no use, he/she knows it all, we know nothing. Time to just walk away.

Was it Mark Twain who said, “Youth is wasted on the young”? We fossils who have life experiences and are familiar with US higher educatin know nothing.

So I read your previous posts and it said that you were getting into a research program. May I inquire as to which research program that you are getting into?

i dont think i did :s

i said i changed my intended major with the help of personal research and the advice i was given here :)

I’ve read your post and now I am very interested what you’ve decided since your last post 3 years ago. Because, I have a very similar situation now. I am an international student accepted to WPI on chemical engineering program. However, I am going to take pre-med with my major. Any advices connected with your personal experience would be VERY helpful.
