4a. what do you like to do for fun

do they want it to be focused on one thing in particular or just shorta list a couple things?

I just did one thing if that helps.

I focused on one thing and related it (just a little) to a possible major.

one thing (10 characters)

whatever you feel like. just keep it under 300 char.

I listed a buncha stuff.

i listed a buncha stuff too

I didn't list. I explicitly stated that table tennis was one of my favorite hobbies.

I think i listed just 4 or 5 things. they only give you three lines.

ooo i love ping pong!! but anyways.. i just put a couple things about origami and thanks for the help!!

300 characters or 300 words? any difference?

there is a big difference between 300 characters and 300 words. I only had three sentencese, given the 300 character limit.

yes yes there is a big difference!! cuz i was freaking out over my professor one and i realized that it only had to be a couple sentences instead of a couple paragraphs

Wow, am I GLAD I came to CC. I was on my 200th word on my "what do you do for fun" short essay... and I was about to kill myself for the professor one. Thank YOU~!

LOL ^
you're almost as bad as that kid who wrote his entire autobiography and complainted that he ran out of time before he could write p217

I'm not gonna lie...this was brilliant. Mine was a stroke of genius.

I wrote 3 things. I wish I had known they're being stringent about character limits (same thing with the professor one), because I wrote them all in Word beforehand and had to spend a long time shrinking them

I wrote about reading (relating it to my poli sci major), coaching youth soccer, and writing (I contribute to an online political commentary webzine, thing- once again relating to poli sci)

I wrote about baking and creating things (from code, jewelry, popsilcle sticks) then wrote about my new recent interest: dumpster diving. =]

if you cannot tell the difference between having 300 words or 300 characters, that is pretty sad. 300 words is about the length of the penn essays i wrote, well maybe if you add about 75 more words, while 300 characters, is about the length of the statement i have just made on this post
