Wow. I leave this thread for a few minutes to go watch Mich St. trump Tenn and when I return you guys are accusing me of ■■■■■■■■. Grow the hell up. I’ll even log into my account and grab a screenshot if you guys don’t believe me…

Let’s do some more speculation then. What does this mean? I wonder why you would be the only one to get that message, even if you are a stellar applicant, you know? Duke doesn’t seem like they would make acceptance that obvious.

So Cornell uses the same system, and there is no submission time, nor is there a message on the log out… ergo, these messages and submission times were purposely added by the Duke administration. There must be a purpose behind the differing log out messages.

I can haz decision??? 5:35 kiss of death, but did not get the good luck with other apps kiss of death… what does this all mean?

They just changed my message - this makes four different messages!

Thank you for applying to Duke University.
Congratulations on your acceptance! Only the 5:35 submitted dates will receive acceptances as you probably have figured out already. You have our best wishes as you complete your senior year.

btw, if you guys want to know, i’m a 5:35er and got the:“Thank you for applying to Duke University. You have our best wishes as you complete your senior year” message.

To me, it’s all just to early to tell. from what I’m seeing there are too many variations in the messages and stuff.

Heck, I could be wrong. I hope I’m not… good luck to all.

It all makes sense now. There’s three different times (1:16, 4:43, 5:35) and three different messages. Each corresponds to either acceptance, rejection, or waitlist.
