Hypothetically speaking, if I get a 5 on AP Physics 1 (probs not going to happen but i’ll still try!), will colleges weigh it more than say a 5 on AP Chemistry since it is harder to get a 5 on physics?
Ideally, I hope to get a five on both, but i know that the probability of that is super low.
AP scores aren’t super important for admission – they’re only self-reported, you don’t send the proof until after you’re admitted, when they’re used for class credit. Contrast that to things like your grades (have to send transcript) and SAT/ACT score (have to send from testing agency).
That I understand. AP tests are so weird. In order to get to a top college, you have to take AP classes, but then some of the colleges don’t even take the tests for credit.
Welp, I guess I’ll just try my best to get fives on all my ap tests and not get disappointed at the low percentage of people who actually do.
