In the fall I will be attending UC Irvine, I just found out that they offer a program where you can get you undergraduate degree and graduate business degree in five years. Mainly what you do is complete all the requirements for the undergrad degree in three years, and then your 1st year of grad school counts towards ur units to complete your units requirement for undergrad. It is automatic admission into the program, no gmat or gpa requirements, just complete the classes, what do you guys think?

The real question is - what are your alternatives? The fact is, UCIrvine, frankly, is not an elite MBA school. So if you think you can get a top-flight job right out of college, you may be better off doing that. However, if you can't, then why not pick up the Irvine MBA.

Why not try to work hard for undergrad and shoot for a more top flight B-school, since, like Sakky stated, UCI isn't really known for being an elite b-school.

hmm i didn't know that existed. for the regular UC Irvine MBA program, they REQUIRE two years work experience. i didn't think UCI's business school would be one of those who admit students straight from undergrad (even if it's just from its own campus).

but although UCI isn't known for its business school, it's supposed to rise in the future, especially after that one donation and its location in a tech city.

There are 1000's of Business' in the area that are mainly highering UCI grads, plus its a good feeling knowing that I can slack off and get C's throughout my who college life and in five years end up with MBA Business degree. UCI is ranked 45th in Managment btw. Plus it is right in the area that I want to live. Sunny Orange County California, Havent you guys seen The OC and Laguna Beach hehe

if you dont want to work on Wallstreet and you want to stay in California, go ahead.
