5 years master program or B.A.

So i got into a 5 years master's program at quinnipiac university, and i also got into Bentley University. Im trying to decide if a masters at quinnipiac would be better than a bachelors at bentley university. im the oldest girl in my family, so my parents and i have no clue what to do. PLEASE HELP which one do i choose!?

Can you afford both?

What type of 5 year program?
What would you get your bachelors in?

yeah i can afford both
i would get a bachelors in finance/ and the masters program would give me a bachelors in finance as well as a MBA

If you change your mind about the 5 th year, how hard would it be for you to change that program to a simple BA?

im not all too sure, but im guessing it would be easy

Have you looked at the total cost of each of these programs? Can your family afford both of them?

i mean not really, but lets take money out of the equation… which one would best set me up for a good future with jobs?

You can’t take money out of the equation. Sorry.

Sit down with your parents and the various calculators at [FinAid! Financial Aid, College Scholarships and Student Loans](http://www.finaid.org) and crunch the numbers. Contact the career centers at each place and ask about placement for finance majors.

The better MBA programs require several years of increasingly responsible work history for admissions. Many employers have tuition benefits. You may be better off waiting to complete the MBA.

^ and Bently is a much better business school in my opinion, with a better location for jobs and internships which is paramount in the business industry

Personally I’d go to Bentley as it is the better business school. If you really want, I believe that Bentley also have a 5 year MBA program which you can apply to once you are there. From my experience, most 5 year MBA’s don’t carry that much weight – it is considered preferable (and the top MBA programs require) that you get some practical work experience in before going on for a graduate degree.

THANK YOU SO MUCH EVERYONE!! these suggestions have helped me a lot!
