Which of the three has the overall best program for finance? I'm looking to work in Boston or New York post college, leaning towards the Boston area. Villanova and Bentley both gave me enough fin aid to attend for free while I will have to take around 20k in loans to attend Northeastern. I haven't been to Villanova yet and am planning to visit during accepted students day in a couple weeks. Which business schools do you guys think is the most reputable?

Bentley is very business focused and is in the Boston Area. Villanova is religious and so that may bother you. I think Northeastern is the most reputable. Are you paying for college yourself or are your parents paying. Do you think you can take extra loans.

I’d say Northeastern but I’m not sure that it is worth 20k more than Villanova.

^^

That was exactly what I was thinking. I think that Bentley has a nice environment. I applied there too. Got waitlisted The acceptance rate took a dive…

What are you looking to do with your finance degree?

I’m also trying to decide between Northeastern and Villanova. I would like to get into investment banking and from what I’ve seen it seems like they both can get you there but Northeastern will most likely lead to middle market firms and smaller banks in Boston while there’s a better chance to get into a bulge bracket firm on Wall Street from Villanova

In Boston…

Bentley > Villanova > NE

In general…

Villanova > Bentley > NE

Bentley recruits very well in Boston.
