We all learned several lessons in high school, many of them life lessons, so post here what you learned in high school and how you will apply it in the college of your choice!

1) No overloading. Sure, even though I managed to get by my junior year overloading on the most difficult courses and finishing with a 5.6w/4.0w, it's extremely stressful and can make one flat-out miserable. I did it again this year, and I may be getting a few Bs.

2) Plan a schedule beforehand. I have to say that picking what was available to me was a pretty big mistake, so right now, I plan on creating a 4-year schedule during this summer.

3) Take summer courses. My high school does not allow students to take summer courses, so I feel somewhat behind.

Don’t isolate myself. Sure, people can be crappy but not having social interaction sucks.

Take classes I like. I just realized how much easier my senior year is because I’m taking classes that I enjoy.

Do homework or assignments on time. Don’t save until the last minute.

Accept my inner nerd in all its screaming fangirl glory

Don’t care if people judge me for being a screaming fangirl

Find other nerds to be nerdy with instead of finding a group of popular friends that I’m not happy with, like I’ve done now…

Find a balance between social life and school, no weekends of nothing but studying.
Talk to the person sitting next to me in class. This could lead to a new study buddy or possibly a new friend.
Do not diss sleep.
Be open to be people.
Don’t isolate myself. Sure, people can be crappy but not having social interaction sucks.

Party. Everyone says college is the best time of your life, so you best believe I’m gonna enjoy it.
