<p>It is certainly something. It is not as good as a 1st or 2nd author pub, but its better than nothing!!</p>

<p>im a sophomore… say i get one or 2 more 4,5th author would it help at all? My GPA ain’t great (3.5ish), should I focus on studies instead?</p>

<p>Your GPA is fine. The pub counts and will help. Do more publishing, keep up your GPA and ace your GRE.</p>

<p>It all depends on your field. Some fields tend to have author lists five lines long while others will consider five a ton.</p>
