So I'll be a junior in the fall and am planning on taking the SAT March '10. Still a long ways away, but I want to be somewhat prepared so that in October when I take the PSAT, I'll be able to narrow down precisely what I need to work on. I have the College Board blue guide and Gruber's. I just ordered Direct Hits. How should I plan my time accordingly to study and prepare well?

Oh, and I really have 8 months, not 6, haha, (12 months not 10 oops :-P )

Assuming you don’t have a lot to do this summer, two hours per day. That should get you properly through at least four complete exams in the Blue Book, with corresponding study and analysis from the Test Masters or Klass Complete Solutions Manual for the Blue Book so you can learn where and why you got answers right and wrong. Then during the school year, 4 hours on the weekend. The week prior to the sitting, two hours per day.
