6 year law program

Hey I got accepted into the combined 6 year law program with Albany Law School, and i was wondering if anyone else got in , or if anyone knows about the program?

Hello ikhan4332,
Congratulations on your acceptance to the 6-year law program! I am happy to answer any questions that you have regarding the program, but I also recommend contacting Brad Hays haysb@union.edu who is the advisor for the program. If able, you should also attend one of our [Open Houses](http://www.union.edu/admissions/visit/open-houses/index.php).
Best wishes and I hope you choose Union!

I’m interested in this program as well, but is Albany the only law school option? When do the actual law school courses begin? I’m assuming the first courses are Constitutional Law and what my brother calls the 1L basics.

What about a combined MBA/JD?

Hi Chargers2012,
Yes, Albany Law School is the only school that the 6-year program is offered with. The law courses would start with your first year at Albany (year four of the program). For your three years at Union, you would major in economics or political science. The application process is slightly different for the 6-year program as it has a January 1 deadline, not the January 15 regular decision deadline.

We currently do not offer a combined MBA/JD program.
