How many can you miss/skip to get a score higher than 650? If I miss around 1-2 on passage-based reading questions on each section, how many sentence completions can I miss or skip and still get a 650+? Thanks!

usually around a -14 raw score (give or take 1 or 2) is a 650. That’s 11 questions wrong.

Thanks! Nice thread on the essay, btw.

^ I think that’s false I think its -12ish. I got 11 wrong 2 omit and got a 640

@Jake11 - Thanks! That makes me feel better. I should have memorized some words -__-

@Jake11, the -14 is the average (from <a href=“Redirect Notice”>Redirect Notice)

Obviously, the curves aren’t always the same (for ex. in math, -1 can be from a 760 - 800).

No one knows the curve for the November test. It could be extremely harsh with -14 being a 620, or extremely generous, with -14 giving a 680
