I’m so confused whether to choose Trinity or University as my first choice. Does anyone here have any experiences or maybe some much-needed advice?
A lot of people say that Trin kids are elitist while University kids are more laid-back.
my dd says supersmart kids are in Trin.
I applied Trin first but I went and toured both of the buildings and the primary differences are that if you want a more pretentious, competitive environment that will be filled with elitist kids but I’m sure many nice kids as well, apply for Trin. University on the other hand has amazing residences and is very inclusive and accepting. The building is also the central building you see on campus and in all of the photos. Its a great second choice if you want to shoot for Trin, which requires a supplement, which means you could just get pushed to Uni if you don’t get in. Both are great options but its about if you want that more exclusive, elite environment you shoot for Trin but if you’re more laid-back than apply University. Both of the residences/buildings are pretty unique. However, I can only vouch for what I have heard/read about as I am applying just like you.
