7 Year B.A./M.D. Program

Any general information or insight not offered on the website would be helpful.

Specific questions that come to mind:
Has anyone gone through this? Is it significantly more competitive to apply to than the regular CCAS? Are the classes really hard due to the condensed time? What classes do you miss that you would normally take if you spent 8 years doing it? If your accepted to the program are you automatically accepted the medical school after three years? Would you recommend it (probably the most important question)?

I’ve heard that out of 800 applicants, only about 80 get interviews and only about 15-18 actually get accepted. Probably one of the most competitive accelerated programs in the country, along with PSU 6yr, BU 7yr, and Tufts 7yr.
