So I recently got accepted into George Washington's 7-Year Medical Program which offers a guaranteed, accelerated path to becoming a physician. This involves completing 3 years of study in the undergraduate school and 4 years of study in the graduate school. This offers a guaranteed spot in the medical school, which (I would imagine) is somewhat coveted. Obviously, this is attractive because it would therefore not be necessary to "jump through all the hoops," to borrow the colloquialism.
Seeing as how the program is fairly competitive (15 out of 700 accepted), I'm a bit concerned that I might not be able to fulfill the conditions that guarantee entrance into the medical school.

From their website,
"The student must maintain a minimum grade of B in courses required for admission to the medical school, and an overall 3.7 average."

I come from a school where the averages are calculated out of 100 points, so I'm unfamiliar with this 4.0 system.
Can anybody offer some insights on keeping a 3.7 average in college?
GWU students commenting on this would be particularly helpful... (difficulty of getting grades varies from school to school?)
