7 year med vs. Ivy undergrad

I want to go to a 7 year med program but I also wouldn't mind going to an ivy. I have a 32 ACT composite right now.

I am scared that I wont get into an ivy league doing regular decision so I am thinking of doing ED to one, but then if I get in to the college, I won't be able to know if I got into any 7 year med programs. If i do regular decision to ivies i know I feel I wont get in.

Which one would be better for me in the long run? Going to the ivy undergrad of 7 year med program? I know i want to be doctor in the future

I am a physician, and in my opinion, there is no inherent benefit to a seven-year program over an 8 year program, other than shortening the process by one year. If you are a stellar student then I don’t think that it should be that difficult to get into medical school. I note your interest in Ivy League schools, but I do want to point out that going to an Ivy League school is not a prerequisite for medical school.

Do not apply anywhere ED. Apply RD instead. In April you will be able to compare your admissions offers and your aid packages before making a decision.
