70% Acceptance Rate?!

Hello!
I’m a senior in high school and I’m going to apply to University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF).
My school counselor has said that my high school career is quite solid (but I completely disagree)… and that I would most likely be admitted. Though, I would like to know more on where my chances stand for being admitted to UAF. I was considering a major in Computer Engineering.
ANY feedback is appreciated

GPA: 3.8 (unweighted)
But I think it might drop to 3.2 by graduation

SAT: 1400
ACT: 20
[took them once BUT I will retake them in January]

AP: two classes (WRLD, Physics 1) + one currently (CompSci)

EC: none

I’ve transferred to 3 different high schools due to my father being in the military (one from out of the country)
I tried to take all the honors classes that were avaliable to me but there were issues in transferring

Lots of hardship occured in my high school career (out of the country, finances, watch younger sibling, abuse, etc)

Any feedback is appreciated…
I would like to know more of “my chances” and to have more insight on my high school achievements or if there’s anything else I could do to better my chances

Look at their Common Data Set starting with page 10. This is horribly out of date: the current CDS is a broken link.

It says the average GPA is 3.21. They only consider GPA and test scores. Your test scores seem to fit. They do not consider EC’s so you are good. I think your guidance counselor knows what she’s doing. Good luck.
