Chance me--University of Florida (Aerospace Engineering)

Hello. Decisions for UF come out on February 26th and I am trying to see what my chances are. My GPA is a 6.0 weighted (Class Rank GPA), at least 14 or above in my class, 3.9 unweighted GPA, 1250 SAT (I know its below average for UF), obtained the Cambridge AICE Diploma with Merit, 8 AICE classes, currently taking 3 AP’s as a senior (AP Calc, AP Lit, APES). I am in numerous clubs such as National Honors Society, Key Club, and Science National Honors Society. I am Team Captain (leadership role) on my High School Tennis Team and went nearly undefeated sophomore year (pre-covid) and made it to regionals. I also did 103 service hours at numerous organizations and I am a Bright Futures Scholar. I am applying for AE and so far have been accepted to almost every other school I applied to (UCF, USF, Embry Riddle-Daytona, FIT, and Auburn). ERAU gave me their top presidential scholarship as well. Only rejected to Notre Dame. I am stating the other schools I got into and the one I was rejected to, in case this helps with determining chances for UF. If I get rejected to UF I am likely going to UCF for AE. With my stats what are my chances at UF, since it is my top choice? Can I still get in with 1250 on SAT with the other stats I have? My GPA is above average for UF and I wonder if having the AICE Diploma will boost me to acceptance. My essay was also phenomenal and I took a lot if time perfecting it. I spoke about the obstacles I have faced in my life and what I have overcome.

out of what scale is your GPA out of?

I ended up getting rejected to UF. As of now I’m trying to choose between UCF and Auburn for Aerospace Engineering. I also got into Embry Riddle, but I didn’t see myself going there and didn’t like the campus that much. My weighted GPA is on a unlimited scale so it can basically just keep going up. One year we had a student with a 7.9 (our valedictorian).
