I got my subject test scores back today and got a 720 on math II. I'm applying as a political science or philosophy major to most of my schools, so will the 720 really hurt that much?

i got a 720 too.

If you're asian, I think it's refreshing that you got a 720. It shows that not everyone of you guys is perfect. : ) Generally, a 700+ cannot hurt you, even though Math II has one of the most genorous curves. I say 720 is really ok.

Thanks for the encouragement!

I'm white, lol. I live in Maine so I guess that's kind of a given.

A 720 shouldn't frighten you. I went from a 700 to an 800.

How is the curve applied? SATII = 720. Curve applied to get 720 or curve increases score to something higher?

I got a 720 as well. Well, last time it was a 630 lol Maybe if I had a chance to take it once again I'd get an 800. But I don't, so...I don't care anymore:)

According to the College Board, a score of 720 on the Math II subject test puts you around the 69th percentile -- which is good (top 30%) but not great.

If your other test scores are high and you don't plan on going into a math/science/engineering major, you'll be fine.

"It shows that not everyone of you guys is perfect"

HAHAHA OMG " you guys"

^^^^It could mean CCers in general also. I DIDN'T MEAN TO OFFEND!!!
