720 on SAT I math- should I take SAT Math Subject Test I or II?

I don't consider myself very good at math but I studied for the SAT and got a 720. Now I'm thinking of applying to Brown, Columbia and Yale, which require two subject tests (or the act) and I might take math as one of them. I've had math through PreCalculus (very difficult class for me but got a B), and will not have any more math before I take the subject tests- should I take Math Subject Test I or II?

If you have already completed Precalculus, then the general consensus is that you should take Math II. However, I would suggest taking practice tests in both and see which test you scored higher on. If your Math I score was, say, 50 points higher than Math II, then stick with Math I, but otherwise go for Math II.

Math II is supposed to have a higher curve, so you might try taking it. I got a 750 on SAT I math, a B in precalculus, and a 720 on the SAT Math II, for reference. You might be ok taking Math II.

Can’t I take both Math I and II and consider them as two subject tests ?? I can get better Math scores than any other subjects so it’s my best shot

Schools will only accept one of the Maths (at least as far as I’ve heard/seen).
