750 on World History...bad?

so it's not exactly 750+...is it?
do you think i should retake it
if I'm considering history major?

Ooh, you're like me in considering a history major! Personally I wouldn't. Colleges understand that there are always some deviations in scoring (ex. for the sat, it is 80,80,60 (not neces. in that order) for a total of 220 which seems like a lot but isn't). Furthermore, they typically don't publish average sat ii scores so it won't affect their rankings if they allow you in. Just get good grades and recs. BTW, was this your first SAT II?

yay history! :D No, it was my second SAT II. I took Math IIC last December.
Then, since i'm taking APUSH next year, I will just try my best to get better score on SAT USH instead of retaking world history.. (Would good score on SAT US history cover this one up?)

oh, i just saw my other thread and realized I've done something very disrespectful...I apologize. And thank you for your respond. :-)

An 800 is always good. ;) But honestly, 750+s are always good. Remember, generally if you retake one and you don't do much better, like an 800 after getting a 750, then the adcoms will think you are a nerd and thus spend all your time studying and you definitely don't want that.

Well, if ur in class '10, then you could retake and get a 800... but 750 is already very competitive for any school, except for the math II SAT. I can at least say that the 750 will not be the thing that'll get you rejected, deferred, or accepted.

According to this, you can only omit ALL math II sats, not distinguish by test date!!! (I haven't verified this, but I believe him.
