790 math 2c make up for 700 sat 1 math?

as the title says, does a 790 math 2c make up for a 700 sat 1 math for competitive uc's like berkeley, ucla, and ucsd? my friends say i should have gotten an 800, but im pretty sure its ok. i mean, its only 10 pts! what are your opinions?
*sry if this has been asked before, i couldn't find it in the search.

thanks,
jason

btw how many questions did i miss? it was just this nov. test and i skipped 2.

800-10(44-X)=790
-10(44-X)=-10
44-X=1
-X=-43

X=43.

Since there are 50 questions, and you omitted 2, you lost 5 points to wrong answers.
which means you skipped 2 and missed 4.

btw, this is for a regular curve. I have no clue if the test was harder or easier in Nov, so you might have missed less or more. o_o

I have no idea how the curve was O_O
I omitted 9 and got a 780.

A 790 is a great score. Don't sweat it.

Oh, btw, you should post this in the "SAT Subject Test" Board next time. You will be able to get more informative answers there.
