7th company

Anyone one have any info on 7th conmpany???

14th company is better.

So are we gonna start a real college confidential forum snowball fight about which USNA company is the best??
Of course it's...
24
:-)

no, it would be 16

though our sister co 15 is a close second

Highest ranking company is 4th Company, current Color Company! :)

Congratulations to all 4th class midshipmen for successfully completing plebe summer! Wishing you a great year! Hoping all the plebes and their families are having a memorable weekend.

Ahem. 6th Company is the best.

I've been there. I know. :D

Color company is done every semester now...therefore the title has lost its "color".

The one thing I hate about the members of the color company are the 4/C...unless it is the second semester...they have no right to wear the gold E on working blues...they were not a part of the original company.

Excuse my hiatus...CC does not work from USNA!

Good grief. Can't they just leave well enough alone?

Yeah, I'd feel the same way about the 1st-semester 4/C, too.

Does anyone really care about who wears what chest candy? Most mids don't even wear theirs.

HELL YES.

I don't wear anything I've not earned. I won't even wear a T-Shirt with a USMC logo or SEAL trident, or anything else I haven't earned the right to wear.

To do so in uniform is worse. I remember one clown back in my day who was going out to impress some girls or something and got busted wearing a Navy Cross.

It is extremely important that what a person is wearing on their uniform be what they have earned. In this case, the company won the award, but the people wearing the device weren't even at the Academy at the time.

Then they are out of uniform.

Those itty-bitty pins made their appearance during my 2/C year. No one liked them, but we wore the ones that corresponded to us. More than one Mid was busted for out-of-uniform for NOT having the ones he was supposed to have.

I remember the Log making the point that if the trend continued, people were going to have so many of them that they'd need a Plebe to follow them around everywhere wearing the pins for them. :D
