I know that $40,000 is a big price tag, but it's not unusual for a small private school. Richmond does have a large endowment for a school this size, it's listed at $1.1 billion. I think in the end what matters is, do I love this school, will I receive a great education, do I feel good here and do I want to spend the next four years of my life here. I think having a class with 8-9 people and actually having a real relationship with my professors is really awesome, to me that seems worth the money. JMO

that's a huge increase in 1 year. just my thoughts

I believe I read somewhere that the UR tuition increase does not apply to incumbent students. "$8,000 increase in tuition, isn't that a lot?" Yep, and will probably result in less applications...

They shouldn't have made it such drastic 1-year jump. A gradual tuition increase would have been easier to swallow.
