Hello,
As the title says I have a 89 or 3.4 gpa so far (going into senior year of high school). I wanted to know if it was reasonably competitive.
To give an idea of my course load:
Freshman Year:
English Honors (Everything else was regular Algebra, Biology, Spanish etc)
Sophomore Year:
English Honors
Spanish Honors
Global Honors
Geometry
Chemistry Honors
Theology Honors
PSAT (class at my school)
Junior:
English Language AP
U.S History AP
Earth Science
Algebra 2
Spanish Honors
Theology
College Writing
Are you still interested in CS? You’ll be competitive for some of the SUNYs.
A high school GPA of 3.4 is higher than the average for all high school students in the US, and should put you on track to get accepted to good universities.
However, whether this is “competitive” will depend upon which universities you intend to apply to, and your major.
Sorry, to give more context, i’m looking at some UCs in Florida (especially UCF) and I am super interested in Howard University.
I am also interested in Computer Science, more specifically CyberSecurity.
