I know that having a minor wont help in admissions. And i heard graduating in 4 years is better than in 4.5 years. But if i had to take another semester after 4 years, will having a minor be less frowned upon than just having a single major?

Bump anyone?

I would guess that they could ask this question; unless your school requires you to have a minor, why take 4.5 years to graduate, when you could havecompleted your degree in 4 years? remember in addition to your LSAC transcript, the school looks at your actual college transcript.

Will you get FA to cover the additional time? At some schools, especially where institutional aid is concerned, if you can complete your course work in 4 years, unless you are in a 5 year degree program, they will not give you any aid (outside of the federal aid that you are entitled to in order to finish).
