<p>Percentile basically means a value on a scale of one hundred that indicates the percent of a distribution that is equal to or below it. So if you get 96th percentile then you got better than 96 people out of every hundred who wrote the test.</p>
<p>if you're 96th percentile, you did better than 95% of the people who took the test</p>
